LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)- Lexington police say a driver is at fault after a 12-year-old girl had her foot run over while walking on a sidewalk in an apartment complex.
The incident happened on Devonport Drive around 8:30 a.m. Police say the girl had forgotten something for school and had run back to her apartment to get it. A driver, who was pulling out of the complex, did not see her and ran over her foot on the sidewalk.
The girl is being taken to UK Medical Center. Police say the driver is at fault.
