GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) – Ivanka Trump made a stop in Kentucky Thursday to visit the Toyota Motor Manufacturing facility in Georgetown.

Trump was in town as part of her campaign to promote adequate training and skills amongst American workers. Officials with Toyota signed the White House Pledge to Workers, which is part of a movement spearheaded by the presidential advisor.

She also participated in a workforce roundtable discussion alongside Governor Matt Bevin.  Trump told those in attendance that she knew the four-year college route isn’t for everyone and that there are many great opportunities in manufacturing.
