FRANKFORT, Ky. (The State Journal) – A Franklin County judge will decide whether or not to suppress a woman’s statement to police in connection with the death of a pizza delivery driver, according to The State Journal.
On Tuesday, Victorya Young, 20, was back in court. Young is accused of being involved in the 2016 shooting of 21-year-old Jared Banta. Young allegedly lured Banta to the Country Hills Apartments by telling Banda she wanted to buy marijuana from him.
Police say Young and two others got into Banta’s car where he was robbed at gunpoint, then shot and killed.
A ruling is scheduled to come before April 17.
