SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Investigators are trying to determine what caused a fire at a home in Georgetown.
It happened around 2 a.m. Friday on Round Table Court.
Crews say when they arrived on scene, they found flames coming from the home.
We’re told the fire was in a room behind the garage and extended up into the attic.
The fire was extinguished quickly, but the home has extensive damage.
One man was home at the time and he was able to make it out safely.
