KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A South Carolina man has been arrested after he reportedly made threats toward a Kentucky college.
Police say 21-year-old Alexander Anderson used social media to threaten to cause harm to students and staff at Union College.
Anderson was arrested Tuesday and taken to the Knox County Detention Center.
Police say during his arrest he attempted to provoke officers into fighting him.
Anderson has been charged with second-degree terroristic threatening and placed on house arrest.
He is scheduled to be arraigned at 9 a.m. on April 2.
