KANSAS CITY, Mo. (LEX 18) – While the Kentucky Wildcats prepare for their Elite Eight match-up with Auburn, fans have been outside of the Sprint Center still riding the high from Friday night and having fun.

Downtown Kansas City is a mix of True Blue, and also people in costumes. KC’s Comic Con is going on this weekend at the city’s Convention Center.

Fans are also trying some famous Kansas City BBQ.

LEX 18 spotted a lot of True Blue inside of Arthur Bryant’s Barbeque restaurant.

“Kansas City has been great so far the people are really nice, trying to try 2 or 3 Barbeque places. Went to Q39 yesterday. It’s kind of more of what I would call a hipster barbecue. This feels like the real thing here,” said Nate Grayson.

“I ordered the barbecue biscuit and the burnt ends, which I didn’t know what that was. They’re both really good, and we got baked beans and onion rings. It’s awesome,” said Ralph Hildabrand.

Sunday will be all about the Cats. Pregame party plans are in the works, and fans are ready to cheer the team on to a Final Four berth.
