LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – As funeral arrangments have been announced for the toddler killed in a Laurel County house fire, officials continue to search for his father.

The fire started just after midnight on Saturday at the Marvin Gardens Mobile Home Park. Once the flames were extinguished, firefighters found the body of Joseph Brock, 1, inside.

The investigation has since turned to his father, 26-year-old Vaughn Brock. Neighbors tell LEX 18 that they talked to Brock shortly after the fire broke out.

He told one neighbor he knew his son was still inside but didn’t know where. Just after that, neighbors say they saw Brock running up a hill behind the home.

He hasn’t been seen since. Joseph would have been two later this month

Visitation for Brock will be held from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Apr. 3 at Community Harvest Church on Buckhorn. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. in the same location
