METCALFE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A Western Kentucky man accused of killing his roommate has plead guilty, according to the Glasgow Daily Times.
Troopers arrested 46-year-old Bobbie Lawson after finding a dead man in his Metcalfe County home in the summer of 2017.
The state medical examiner’s office used the victim’s fingerprints to identify him as 30-year-old Bobby Hubert.
They say Hubert and Lawson were roommates, and that Lawson shot him during an argument.
According to the paper, Lawson plead guilty just three weeks before a jury trial was set to begin.
He could face 20 years in prison, pending a judge’s final decision.
Final sentencing is scheduled for May 28.
