Amber Alert Cancelled For Missing Western Ky. Teen

UPDATE: The victim and the suspect were located in Orange Beach, Alabama. The suspect has been detained and 16-year-old Lauryn Sizemore is awaiting pick up at the Orange Beach Police Department.

The Amber Alert has been cancelled.

(LEX 18)– An Amber Alert was issued early Tuesday for a missing Western Kentucky teenager.

Officials say 16-year-old Lauryn Sizemore was last seen around midnight March 30 inside her bedroom in Dawson Springs.

She was noticed missing from her home around 9:30 a.m. that same morning.

She’s described as having hazel eyes and brown hair, and was last seen wearing a gray hoodie with black strings.

The man she is believed to be with is her step-grandfather, Glenn Eugene Harper.

Officials say he mentioned to a friend that he was going to Texas; his brother and father live in the Houston area.

Harper is said to be driving a maroon 2004 Hyundai Sonata with temporary tag number 9555994.
