(LEX 18)– Members from Wolfe County and Powell County Search and Rescue Teams rescued a hiker after he fell and landed on a rock outcropping while trying to gain access to the top of Rock Bridge.
The Wolfe County Search and Rescue Team Facebook page said that the hiker was unable to walk out on his own. Teams carried him to await an ambulance.
There is no word on the hiker’s condition.
