LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– This year’s commemorative Maker’s Mark bottle, celebrating UK basketball to benefit all student-athletes at UK, will be hitting store shelves Friday.
This year’s bottle is honoring Coach Calipari and the 2012 National Championship. It completes a series of bottles released honoring the championship coaches…with the noticeable omission of Rick Pitino.
Pitino’s 1996 team is featured on one of the bottles.
A signing event for this year’s bottle will take place at Keeneland Race Course’s Keene Barn beginning at 7 a.m., April 12, featuring Head Coach John Calipari and members of the 2012 team.
Anyone wanting to attend the signing must first get a free ticket online at www.keeneland.com/makers-mark-bottle-signing after creating an account.
