ENNIS, Texas (LEX 18)– Results from an autopsy and toxicology report are giving new insight into the cause of death of a Kentucky native in Texas, according to The Ennis News.

Emily Wade, originally from Cynthiana, went missing back in January in Ennis, Texas.

Search crews found her body in a creek bed weeks later.

The Ennis News reports the cause of death was hypothermia, the result of being in cold waters for about 30 minutes.

The paper says there were no signs of foul play.
