SCOTT COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Two Frankfort men are being blamed for a series of thefts in at least three Georgetown neighborhoods.
Officers out on extra patrol in the Rocky Creek neighborhood say they spotted the suspects trying to hide around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday.
29-year-old Shawn Lewis and 21-year-old Sabian Moxley reportedly had stolen guns, purses, wallets, and phones taken from vehicles.
At this time, police say they believe the neighborhoods affected by this crime spree are: Rocky Creek Reserve, Rocky Creek Farm, and Elkhorn Green.
Both men are being held on a number of theft charges.
