Pulaski County Deputy Injured in Head-on Crash

PULASKI COUNTY, KY (Lex 18)– A Pulaski County Sheriff’s deputy has been injured in a head-on crash, according to Kentucky State Police.

Dispatchers said the collision happened just before 10 p.m. Wednesday on Slate Branch Road near Oak Hill Road outside Somerset.

The deputy suffered a broken leg and a possible broken arm. He does not have life-threatening injuries.

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office confirmed the deputy was off-duty at the time of the wreck. Kentucky State Police Post 11 is handling the investigation.
