LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Motorists who use Midland Avenue should be aware that lane changes will take place April 15, to allow crews installing new sewer lines to cross the roadway. The crossover work, which will be located on Midland between Third and Lewis streets, is expected to take 10 days.
Once the crossover is completed, the final 500 feet of sanitary sewer will be installed as part of the Town Branch Commons. That work will force the closure of the far right inbound lane for about 45 days.
One lane of traffic in each direction will be open at all times.
