Bonds Set For 4 Accused In Robbery, Death Of Pregnant Woman

ANDERSON COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The four men arrested in connection to a Lawrenceburg robbery and murder appeared in court Thursday.

A judge set the bonds for 33-year-old Derrick Morris, 20-year-old Jonathan Harley, 20-year-old Robert J. Jones, and 19-year-old Austin Chilton.

On April 9, officers were called to a home on Saffell Street for a possible home invasion. Police found 22-year-oldLauryn Kinne, who was in the third trimester of her pregnancy, mortally wounded with a gunshot to the chest.

She was rushed to Frankfort Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead. Her unborn baby also did not survive.

Details of each suspect’s bond is as follows:

  • Morris is charged with robbery and murder. His bond was set at $250,000. If he posts bail, he will be required to wear a GPS monitor and is not allowed any contact with Kinne’s family.
  • Harley is charged with robbery. His bond was set at $100,000. If he posts bail, he not allowed any contact with Kinne’s family.
  • Jones is charged with robbery. His bond was set at $100,000. If he posts bail, he not allowed any contact with Kinne’s family.
  • Chilton is charged with robbery. His bond was set at $100,000. If he posts bail, he not allowed any contact with Kinne’s family.

All are expected to be back in court for a preliminary hearing at 10:30 a.m. April 18.
