LINCOLN COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Lincoln County Animal Shelter is currently experiencing a Code Red, meaning several of their dogs are in danger of euthanasia if they are not adopted.

The seven dogs have until Monday morning before they will be euthanized.

Three of them are sponsored for rescue, meaning there will be no adoption fee to take them home.

If you are interested in adopting one of these animals, call the shelter at (606) 365-2354 or visit them from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 10 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Friday, or 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, at their location on Work House Road in Stanford.
