PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man was flown to the hospital after a shooting in Perry County.
Dispatchers tell LEX 18 that it happened around 8 p.m. Friday in the Lothair Community. A softball game was being played nearby and people there were taken to a safe place as a precaution.
The man was shot in the leg. There is no word on his condition.
Authorities say that the suspected shooter is still on the run and that a woman is with him.
