MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — Kentucky State Police said Saturday morning that an inmate who escaped the Green River Correctional Complex had been recaptured.
Officials said 44-year-old Charles Pedigo of Scottsville was found in Warren County.
Authorities earlier had said Pedigo was incarcerated on an assault charge.
KSP said officials with the Warren County Sheriff’s Department found Pedigo after a resident reported a man on her front porch “trying to quiet her dogs.”
Pedigo was arrested and lodged in the Warren County Detention Center.
