LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man has been arrested after he reportedly raped a woman.
Police arrested 36-year-old Adrian Hicks around 3 a.m. Monday morning.
According to an arrest citation, Hicks pulled the victim’s pants down while she was asleep on a couch then had sex with her against her will.
The incident happened on Liverpool Road near the intersection of New Circle Road and Old Frankfort Pike.
The victim told police the act was by force.
Hicks is in the Fayette County Detention Center charged with first-degree rape.
