Lexington Rescue Mission Needs Donations For Easter Dinner

LEXINGTON, KY. (LEX 18)- The Lexington Rescue Mission will hold an Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 20, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m.

More than 100 people are expected to attend the Easter Service and many will likely stay for the holiday meal immediately following.

The center is in need of food for the event. The mission is asking for ham, bagged potatoes, dinner rolls, canned soft drinks, cupcakes … and a lot of individually wrapped Easter candy! Food donations may be dropped off at the Lexington Rescue Mission’s Outreach Center at 444 Glen Arvin Ave. between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m., through this Friday.
