LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)– Kentucky Kingdom has announced a new roller coaster at the park, called the Kentucky Flyer.
The wooden coaster features a dozen what they call “airtime elements” and reaches speeds of 35 miles per hour.
It’s designed for younger riders, with a height requirement of 40 inches–or the average height of a 4-year-old.
You can experience the Kentucky Flyer for yourself, when Kentucky Kingdom opens for the season April 28.
It’s the park’s sixth roller coaster, and the third to be added in the last five years.
