‘Shelter In Place’ Lifted Following Hazmat Situation In Gallatin County

GALLATIN COUNTY, Ky. (WLWT)– A “shelter in place” advisory has been lifted after a hazmat situation in Ghent.

It started around 5 a.m. Monday at Steel Technologies on U.S. 42.

Officials say the advisory was called after a fire at the business.

There is reportedly no significant damage to the building, and the EPA will have to further assess.
