WAYNE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office says that two daycare workers were arrested after an investigation into a child abuse complaint.
The complaint came in on April 19, 2019, about abuse at a local daycare facility.
After reviewing the video and conducting interviews, arrest warrants were obtained on April 22 for Diana Myers, of Monticello, and Tasha L. Cox, of Monticello.
Both women were arrested and lodged in the Wayne County Detention Center.
Myers is charged with criminal abuse 1st degree of a child under the age of 12. Cox is charged with failure to report child abuse/neglect.
