(NBC News)– A U.S. solider from Madison County, who died while serving in Iraq, is back on U.S. soil.
The body of Army Specialist Ryan Riley arrived at Dover Air Force Base in Delaware early Tuesday morning.
The 22-year-old was killed Saturday in a noncombat incident in Ninawa Providence, Iraq.
The incident is under investigation.
Ryan enlisted in October 2016 and as part of his first deployment arrived in Iraq in December 2018.
