DEBORD, Ky. (LEX 18/EKB)– Kentucky State Police are investigating a fatal crash on Ky RT 3 near the Johnson and Martin County lines.
They report that a passenger vehicle had rear-ended a commercial vehicle.
The driver of the passenger vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene. KSP said he has been identified as 59-year-old Timothy Rice, of Betsy Lane. EKB reports that Rice was the Sheldon Clark girl’s basketball coach.
Alcohol and drugs are not suspected in the crash.
The crash remains under investigation.
