SHELBY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A fuel spill has been reported at the 33 milemarker of eastbound I-64.
There are approximately 40-50 gallons on the ground. The spill has been contained and is not affecting any waterways. The spill was caused by a steel rod in the road that punctured the tank.
The righthand lane at the 33rd milemarker will be closed until further notice.
