GEORGETOWN, Ky. (LEX 18) — Officials in Georgetown said Thursday morning that a woman who was the subject of a Golden Alert had been found safe.
On Wednesday, the Georgetown Police Department issued the alert for 54-year-old Peggy Jo Whitlock, who they said had not been seen since April 15 at Comp Care in Georgetown.
Officials said she had been located “and her welfare was checked.”
