LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) — Lexington police are searching for a man who fled on foot near Lima Drive.
According to officers, police spotted a man who they say fled from a traffic stop Sunday. A chase ensued on Lima Drive, where the man managed to get away on foot.
Officers said they are confident they will find the man, but have asked LEX 18 to not identify the suspect. They are filing warrants for felony fleeing and drug charges.
During Sunday’s traffic stop, the officer who pulled him over was halfway inside the car at the time the suspect drove off.
The officer didn’t suffer any injuries, but that could result in the suspect facing a wanton endangerment charge.
