LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WAVE 3)- A child was killed after being bitten by a dog in a Louisville neighborhood, WAVE 3 News reports.
According to the Louisville TV station, the attack happened inside a residence at the intersection of 38th Street and Grand Avenue just after noon on Thursday.
The 3-year-old was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital and was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
The dog will be quarantined for 10 days by Louisville Metro Animal Services. Police did not identify the breed of dog involved.
