WOLFE COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– One man is dead following an accident in Wolfe County.
It happened around 12:56 a.m. Thursday on KY 15 South.
According to Kentucky State Police, 54-year-old Shelia Couch, of Wooton, was operating a Chevy City Express Van when she crossed the median, striking 42-year-old Lonnie Harvey Jr., of Jackson.
Harvey sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at Kentucky River Medical Center in Jackson by the Breathitt County coroner.
Couch was transported to Kentucky River Medical Center then to UK Hospital where she is listed as stable.
The collision remains under investigation.
