MARSHALL COUNTY, Ky. (WPSD) — Attorneys for the accused Marshall County High School shooter have asked the court for a change of venue.
WPSD Local 6 reports that lawyers filed the petition Monday. Lawyers for Gabriel Parker have asked that the criminal trial be moved to another county outside of Marshall County and it’s neighboring counties.
As part of their argument, lawyers attached multiple screenshots of posts made on social media regarding the case.
Commonwealth Attorney Dennis Foust says he will file a response on Monday.
