KNOX COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man is wanted in connection to an armed robbery in Knox County.
It happened around 3:30 a.m. Monday at the Wildcat Market on Highway 25 E.
The clerk told police that the man was approximately six feet tall with a large muscular build.
The suspect was reportedly wearing what is known as a Ghillie sniper suit to hide his identity and he threatened the clerk with a black handgun. He took an undetermined amount of cash in the incident.
The vehicle he left in is a silver 2012 Jeep Liberty with the side brake light out. His direction of travel was not certain at the time of the incident.
