(LEX 18) — A family’s weekend getaway was interrupted back in April when a tree fell on a cabin at Lake Cumberland. The 911 call and dispatch radio calls have been released.

It happened Sunday morning on April 14. Someone in the cabin next door called and said that a tree had fallen on a cabin and it had collapsed, with people inside.

The tree was knocked over by strong winds and landed on top of the cabin. There were four adults and two children in the cabin.

No one was seriously hurt, and the six were rescued by the help of the 911 caller and his guests.
