LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – It’s a photo as American as apple pie.
Lexington firefighters shared a photo on Facebook after one of their engines stopped for lunch at the Chick Fil A at Harrodsburg Road.
Firefighters noticed that the flag was damaged and used their truck’s enormous ladder to fix the flag.
“When the American flag is damaged, and you don’t have a long enough ladder. #NotOnOurWatch#OldGlory #ChickFilA,” reads the caption.
Hopefully, the crew got some free chicken minis out of it.
