LOUISVILLE, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man from Bismarck, North Dakota is on a mission to find the person who left his winning Kentucky Derby ticket behind.

A man named Ed bet money on Country House, the underdog to win the Derby.

But Ed left his ticket behind before the reversal was announced that Maximum Security was disqualified.

Bradley King has Ed’s ticket, which is worth more than $600, and he’s trying to find him.

King only knows his first name, and says Ed lives about 40 miles south of Bismarck.

He’s about 60, has white hair, a white beard, and was wearing round rimmed glasses.

“This is his money he should really have a chance to take this and enjoy it,” said King.

King says the ticket expires after 90 days.

He says he hopes to find Ed before then.

But if he doesn’t, he says he’ll cash it and hold onto the money
