SOMERSET, Ky. (LEX 18)– One person is dead in a fatal motorcycle crash on Jacksboro Street in Somerset.
The Somerset Police Department said that a motorcyclist was travelling southbound on Jacksboro Street when they left the roadway and hit a utility pole.
No other units were involved.
The roadway is shut down between Framer Street and Sherman Avenue as crews reconstruct the scene.
The police department said that the motorcyclist was not wearing a helmet.
