Man Sentenced In Deadly Saddle Ridge Shooting

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man convicted in the deadly Lexington 2016 shooting outside of Saddle Ridge Bar was sentenced Friday.

Leslie Lee Parson was accused of shooting Skylar Ray as Ray tried to break up a fight outside the bar.

Ray was paralyzed and eventually died due to complications from pneumonia.

Parson was charged with murder in the case.

Parson was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the murder charge, as well as five years for being a convicted felon in possession of a handgun. The sentences will be served consecutively, for a total of 30 years.
