LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A man arrested last year in connection to a shooting is in trouble again.

Police say 26-year-old Javonte Briscoe shot at his ex-girlfriend as she tried to drive away from him.

It happened March 23 in the parking lot of the Swahili Elks Lodge on Versailles Road.

The victim tells police that she believes Briscoe was jealous that she was out with someone else.

She was not injured in the shooting.

Briscoe was arrested Thursday afternoon and charged with wanton endangerment.

He was previously arrested last April in connection to a September 2017 shooting.
