LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– On Tuesday, there was a ribbon cutting to celebrate the opening of the Keeneland Mercantile in the new City Center, formerly known as CentrePointe.
Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton was there, as well as Keeneland Vice President & Chief Operating Officer Vince Gabbert, Keeneland Vice President & Chief Marketing Officer Christa Marrillia, Keeneland Director of Retail Kyle Cassin, and more.
The store showcases local items, with Keeneland officials saying that it has the “best of what our region, our tradition, and our craftsman have to offer.”
The ribbon cutting was held at 5 p.m.
