LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– A local school bus driver noticed a young child wandering early Friday morning and decided to help.
According to police, the driver saw the toddler outside in the Winter Garden area and picked the child up. The driver continued with the bus route but notified authorities.
The child was picked up at Henry Clay High School after the parents were notified. Apparently, the child’s grandfather went outside to feed their chickens and the child got out without anyone noticing.
Police say no charges will be filed.
