SPENCER COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – A day at the lake turned deadly after a person drowned in Spencer County.
This happened on Saturday night at Taylorsville Lake near the Possum Ridge boat dock.
According to the Taylorsville-Spencer County Fire Protection District’s Facebook page, the squad worked with police, fish and wildlife, and emergency responders during the rescue.
The dive team later recovered the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim’s name hasn’t been released.
