LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Division of Traffic Engineering has installed a new traffic signal at the intersection of West Maxwell and Merino Street and has placed it in ‘flash mode.’ Traffic Engineering will put the signal into full service May 28.
The signal is intended to improve safety by reducing the number of angle collisions, improving pedestrian connectivity, providing more visibility for emergency vehicles and helping lower speeds through the residential area.
