PERRY COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) — An officer-involved shooting in Perry County has killed one person.
The Perry County Deputy Coroner confirms that one person was killed in the Viper Community. Troopers tried to pull a man over in Hazard, but say he did not stop.
The chase ended off Big Branch Road in Vicco.
One trooper was on foot and was hit by Brown’s car, that’s when troopers fired at Brown, killing him.
The trooper was taken to the hospital and was released.
