LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)- A man accused of murdering a woman in Lexington is due in court for his first appearance.
James Ragland, 28, of Ragland is accused of murdering a 27-year-old woman outside the Fox Club on Winchester Road.
His arrest citation states that he fired multiple shots towards the woman on January 26. When officers arrived, several people were seen fighting in the parking lot.
Iesha Edwards was found lying on the ground. She subsequently died from her injuries.
US Marshals arrested Ragland in Detroit back in February and was extradited to Kentucky.
Police say multiple sources identified Ragland and that’s how they were able to identify him.
