Laurel County Toddler Found Safe Shortly After Being Reported Missing

UPDATE: She has been found safe with her mother.


LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) – The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a missing two-year-old.

According to deputies, Isabella Towe was allegedly taken by her father, Shane Towe, 20  on Friday morning. Deputies had initially been called to the Cornett subdivision for reports of a male subject armed with a gun.

When deputies arrived, they learned that Shane Towe was allegedly intoxicated and had fled the scene in a silver-colored Chevy Cruz with Kentucky license plate number 895ZBF.

Authorities have not released a picture of the child or a description. LEX 18 is working on getting an image of the toddler.
