BEREA, Ky. (WBON)– A Berea man is in custody after he allegedly assaulted two firefighters while they responded to an alarm.
According to our partners at WBON, the firefighters were responding to a fire alarm in the 100-block of Chesnut Street in Berea.
Court documents say while officials were on the scene, 37-year-old Grant Graham approached them and allegedly pushed one of the firefighters from behind. Graham then reportedly pushed a second firefighter and lunged at him.
The firefighters restrained Graham until police arrived. Officers determined that he showed several signs of impairment.
Graham was charged with public intoxication and third-degree assault (Fire, EMS, Rescue).
