Officials Search For Suspect After Chase Ends In Crash

LAUREL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)– Authorities are searching for a man who escaped following a chase.

It happened around 1 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 30.

Officials say the chase ended when the vehicle they were pursuing wrecked in the Mill Creek area of Jackson County.

They are currently searching for a male suspect who is on foot.

It’s unclear why the chase started, or what charges the suspect potentially faces.

We’re told no one was hurt.

Both the Laurel County Sheriff’s Office and Kentucky State Police responded to the situation.
