Lexington Center Issues Traffic Advisory For Paul McCartney Concert

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) – Sir Paul McCartney and the Freshen Up Tour is taking place this Saturday at Rupp Arena from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Approximately 18,500 people are expected to attend this sold-out event.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m.

According to Bill Owen, President and CEO of Lexington Center, “We are anticipating a wonderful night of World Class entertainment from a legendary artist.  Patrons will be traveling to Lexington from all over the U.S. and the region to attend this concert.  Concertgoers should plan to arrive early and allow extra time to find a parking spot.  There are pre-parties happening from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Triangle Park, hosted by LM Communications and The Shops at Lexington Center, hosted by iHeart Media.  We encourage patrons to come out early, have dinner downtown, stop by the pre-parties, and enjoy the festivities.”
