Four Hospitalized After New Circle Road Crash

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18)– Four people are in the hospital Sunday morning after a crash on New Circle Road.

The collision happened around 1 a.m., police say that it appears alcohol and speed may have played a role in the crash.

They say that the car the four were in was travelling on New Circle Road, near Alumni Drive, when it left the road on the right side and ended up rolling over several times.

The four people inside were thrown from the car. The extent of their injuries is not clear right now.

The road was closed for a few hours as crews worked to reconstruct the scene. it has since been reopened.
